The platform broke the world record for the most concurrent views to a live-streamed event, with over 3.2 crore viewers tuning in to watch the IPL final between the Chennai Super Kings and the Gujarat Titans. This marked the first time that IPL cricket matches were streamed for free, and it coincided with JioCinema acquiring the streaming rights.
